It's all a process . . .

From the way I perceive life, if you're going to make changes . . . make them noteworthy! Today I start packing boxes in order to move. I'm moving to a temporary location, just until my 32 1/2 year career comes to closure in January. Then the plan is to head for Europe for about three months . . . at which time more decisions will be made.
The interesting process right now is making decisions on what things in my possession are important enough to me, that they need to remain in my possession. The challenge is to not keep things out of guilt - "These linens were once used by Aunt Georgina . . . " [whoever that may be], but to keep something because when I look at it, I realize there is a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart.
I'm expecting 90% of "the stuff" I've been hanging onto will not make the move! I'm relishing the idea [at the moment, anyway] of being very unemcumbered by things!
